Shinjirō Koizumi

is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party. He is the second son of former Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi and younger brother of actor Kotaro Koizumi.
==Early life==
Koizumi grew up in Yokosuka, his father's home district, attending Kanto Gakuin University in Yokohama from elementary school through university. He studied political science at Columbia University from 2004 to 2006, where he was an understudy of Gerald Curtis.
